The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and the trailer's multifunction module, which amplifies all necessary signals. 
Compatible with conventional bulbs and LED trailer lights.
The parking warning system switches off automatically when a trailer/bicycle carrier is connected and detected - 
just as the rear fog lights of the car are automatically switched off when a trailer/bicycle carrier is connected and detected.
With the new trailer light control function, an alert is sent via the car pool when a trailer is broken 
rear, brake or indicator light - in addition, there is an audible warning in the event of a malfunction of the indicator or brake lights 
the trailer lights.
For your safety and convenience, other advanced features are deactivated when a trailer or bike carrier is connected and detected 
driving assistance systems, see the user manual for further details.
Available with 13-pole waterproof socket housing. 
An adapter is available to temporarily change a 13-pole vehicle to a 7-pole trailer/caravan adapter: E919999137
