The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and the trailer's multifunction module, which amplifies all the necessary signals. Compatible with both conventional bulbs and LED trailer lights and has an audible warning of a malfunctioning turn signal or trailer brake light. The vehicle's rear fog light automatically switches off when a trailer is attached. Available with 7-pole socket with drainage holes to prevent water accumulation. An adapter is available for temporary change from 7-pole to 13-pole. 7-pole (vehicle) to 13-pole (trailer/caravan) adapter: 55622ADB00

For AudiTTs with rear lamp clusters and LED

Trailer module with all important functions:
A - Amplification of all required signals
B - C2 function for the direction and brake lights on the trailer (buzzer warning when bulbs are broken)
C - Fog light is off
D - Switching off automatic parking assist (PDC) for MPE PDC systems
E - Bulbs and LED lights on the trailer will be detected
Safety feature: audible warning of defective broken trailer turn signals (legal requirement in Germany, Austria and the UK. Future standard for the rest of Europe)

Not valid for GT & GT-Line MY22
Also applies to CD, MY25 with bulb type rear lamp cluster. The button to manually disable the parking warning - rear has been removed by the vehicle manufacturer, resulting in a permanent warning when reversing with a trailer/bike carrier. Please note that this is not a product defect.
