The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and the trailer's multifunction module, which amplifies all the necessary signals. Compatible with both conventional bulbs and LED trailer lights and has an audible warning of a malfunctioning turn signal or trailer brake light. The vehicle's rear fog light automatically switches off when a trailer is attached. Available with 13-pole waterproof socket housing. The 13-pole system is ready to handle all the functions of a modern caravan. Trailer module with all important functions:
A - Amplification of all required signals
B - C2 function for the direction and brake lights on the trailer (buzzer warning when bulbs are broken)
C - Fog light is off
D - Switching off automatic parking assist (PDC) for MPE PDC systems
E - Bulbs and LED lights on the trailer will be detected
Safety feature: audible warning of defective broken trailer turn signals (legal requirement in Germany, Austria and the UK. Future standard for the rest of Europe)
