The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and the trailer's multifunction module, which amplifies all the necessary signals. Compatible with both conventional bulbs and LED trailer lights and has an audible warning of a malfunctioning turn signal or trailer brake light. The vehicle's rear fog light automatically switches off when a trailer is attached. Available with 13-pole waterproof socket housing. the 13 pole system is ready to control all modern caravan functions, to take advantage of its full functionality please order the additional +15/+30 expansion kit 55621ADE01. For vehicles with a BEAM and LED13 pole rear combination lamps with PDC and C2 disconnection
Trailer module with all important functions:
1 - Amplify all required signals
2 - C2 function for trailer turn signals and brake lights (buzzer warning when bulbs are broken)
3 - The fog lamp is switched off
4 - Switching off automatic parking assist (PDC) for MPE PDC systems
5 - Bulbs and LED lights on the trailer will be detected
Safety feature: audible warning of defective broken trailer turn signals (legal requirement in Germany, Austria and the UK. Future standard for the rest of Europe)

For XCeed MY19 and ProCeed MY19 LHD vehicles only
Not valid for GT and GT-Line MY'22
Also applies to CD, MY25 with bulb type rear lamp cluster. The button to manually disable the parking warning - rear has been removed by the vehicle manufacturer, resulting in a permanent warning when reversing with a trailer/bike carrier. Please note that this is not a product defect.
